I was fortunate enough to meet and get to know Miss Kathryn when Everett and I were roommates. There are few women in this world that were in the same class and she will be missed for many years to come.

From the Bonet family, please accept our sincerest condolences and prayers for the family. Just remember that she will live on in your thoughts and memories. Cherish them always.

Please accept the condolences of USDA Rural Development. Most of us here in Tuskegee did not meet Ms. K until moving to the area in two years ago. She left a lasting impression. She was a humble, kind and brave woman and we appreciated her for it. Your family; along with the world has suffered a grave loss and we are that much unfortunate for it. May you forever cherish the memories you had of Ms. K. I know we will.

Deepest Sympathy,
USDA Rural Development/Tuskegee

I met Ms. K through the Mid-South RC&D Council and the Soil & Water Conservation Districts.  She was the most honest and straightforward lady I know and I loved her dearly.  She could make me laugh like no other.  She will truly be missed!

Ms. Story - referred to as Ms. Kay within the agency (NRCS/SWCD)!  She always greeted me with a smile when I visited the local office in which she served in Tuskegee.  Claiming peace and comfort for the family during this "Homegoing Celebration".

We have many fond memories of Kathryn, especially when she lived across the street from Grady and Elizabeth Dyson. She was the best of neighbors.
