Gary Norman Johnson

Gary Norman Johnson, 75, was born in Sault Ste. Marie, MI, on January 18, 1942, and died on Friday, April 14, 2017, after a brief illness.  Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of almost 26 years Jeri Ann Floyd Johnson, of Prattville; his daughters Kelly Johnson of Monroe, NC, Stacey Johnson of Paris, France, Kym (Jason) Sorensen of Montgomery, and Elizabeth Joyce of Cumming, GA; his grandchildren Liam Pavletic of Denver, CO, Trynity Sorensen of Montgomery, and Jaxon and Jace Joyce of Cumming, GA; his brother Alan Johnson of Colorado Springs, CO; and his sisters Norma Jean Gaul of Washington, IL, and Sandra Young of Newton, NC.  He was widely known as "Mr. Gary" or "Paw Paw."  He loved football, motorcycles, and shih tzus.  Per his wishes, he will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held on May 27, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 12:00 P.M. with Father Phillip McKenna officiating.
