Wanda Baker Obituary

Wanda Gail Baker, 60, of Reeltown, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2019, at home after an extended illness.  She was born in Tallassee, Alabama, on October 9, 1959, daughter of Lillie Mae Baker and the late Lonnie S. "Billy" Baker.  She is survived by her mother Lillie Mae; her sons Ronnie Baker (JP Mahoney) and Donnie; her grandson Kaleb C. Baker; her granddaughter Billie Gail Leigh Baker; her great granddaughter Meilah Baker; her brother William S. "Buddy" Baker; her nephew Cruz S. Baker; and her double first cousin Cindy Garrett.  She is also survived by lifelong friends Sandra Baker Rinehart and Harold Gore and many other nephews, nieces, cousins, and wonderful friends.  Wanda was preceded in death by her father, Lonnie S. "Billy" Baker and her grandson Cage S. Baker.  

Wanda once worked for the Tallassee Mills and as a cook in local restaurants.  She was dedicated throughout her life to caring for her family and friends.  She had a smile that would light up any room, and a laugh that was contagious.  She will be missed by friends, family, and all that knew her.  

Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at Notasulga First Assembly of God at 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Pentecost United Methodist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be prior to the funeral at the church beginning at 1:00 P.M.
