Shirley Faye Cooper, 73, of Franklin, died Sunday, November 17, 2019, at her home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at Pleasant Springs Baptist Church at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Ronald Sumner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 19, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Corbitt’s Funeral Home. Mrs. Cooper is survived by her husband of 54 years Gary Cooper; her sons Ashley (Jamie) Cooper and Scott Cooper; her grandchildren Heather (Bo) Holland, Samantha (Ginez) Bonillo, and Austin Cooper; her great grandchildren Mason and Rhett Holland, and Conner and Maximus Bonillo; her sisters Christine Walters, Linda (Mitch) Marshall, and Martha Fitzpatrick; her brother Chester Page, Jr. (Dinah); and her sister-in-law Sara Logan. She was preceded in death by her parents Chester Page, Sr. and Hattie Page, three sisters, three brothers, and her grandson Tyler Cooper. She was a long time member of Pleasant Springs Baptist Church, and was a loving mother, grandmother, and a devoted wife. Mrs. Cooper also spent 29 years working at GKN in Tallassee.
