Roy Clyde McGuire

Roy McGuire, 68, of Notasulga, died Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at East Alabama Medical Center. A celebration of life will be May 18, 2024, at the Little Texas Tabernacle at 1437 Co. Rd. 69 in Tuskegee at 1:00 pm. The family will gather at Brandon and Hannah’s home at 348 Gammil’s Store Rd, Tallassee, after the service.

Roy is survived by his wife of 43 years Gay McGuire; his brother Kevin (Jackie) McGuire and sister Tammy (Kenny) Tolbert; his special sons Trey (Madi) Stewart, Brandon (Hannah) McGinty, Cody (Madi) Barnhart, and Chris Wilson; his special daughters Toynia Stewart, Amanda (Jody) Harper, and Cherry Hood; his grandkids Brody Wilson, Kyle McGinty, Brantley Barnhart, Mason Roosevelt, Charli-Kate Strickland; his special niece Crystal Fuller; and many other loved nieces, nephews, and “adopted” children. 
 

Roy loved his family and the Lord. He worked at Hornsby Striping for many years and retired from Vulcan Materials. He will be greatly missed.
