On May 7, 2023, Reuben Ervin Menefee Sr, age 86, was called to his Heavenly Home.
Ervin was born May 6, 1937 in Shorter Alabama.
He is preceded in death by his parents Julius Ceasar and Ruth McLeod Menefee, sisters Suanne Menefee Chapman and Gussie Jule Menefee Jones, granddaughter Destiny O'Dell.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Mary Lou Garnett Menefee, sister Betty Menefee Segrest (Dale). son Reuben (Ben) Ervin Menefee Jr (Andrea), daughters Cynthia Menefee O'Dell (Ron) and Rebecca Menefee Houtch, along with grandchildren Caleb (Tia) Menefee, Cory (Lauren) Menefee, Jakob O'Dell, Bryson Houtch, Kolby Houtch, great grandchildren Kya, Elijah, Harper and many nieces and nephews. He truly loved each and every one of them.
Graveside service will be held May 20, 2023, at 11 am at Calebee Presbyterian Church Cemetery 9345-9667 CR-9, Shorter, AL 36075.
Celebration Of Life will be held on June 10, 2023, at 11 am at Floridatown Baptist Church, 3851 Diamond St, Pace, FL 32571
