Patsy Ann Ledbetter Griffith, 86, of Guntersville, died on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Lake Martin Community Hospital. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 5:00 pm at Salem Macon Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at 4:00 pm prior to the service in the church. Mrs. Griffith is survived by her children Anna (Jerry) Lee, Teresa (Randy) Martin, and Mark (Kim) Griffith; her grandchildren Laura Norrell, Ashley Brantley, Amanda Scoggins, Angela Lee, Meghan Griffith, and Will Griffith; five great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; her sister Kathy (Doug) Lawhorn; her sister-in-law Margaret Ledbetter; her first cousins Charles (Jeanelle) Sargent and Jeanette Welch; her nephews; and a niece. She was preceded in death by her husband William T. Griffith; her father Andrew P. Ledbetter; her mother Ollie G. Ledbetter; her special mother Kathleen Ledbetter; her brothers Andrew G. Ledbetter, Nathan “Smitty” Ledbetter, and Billy Stokes; and her great grandson Tannar Howard.
Mrs. Griffith was born in Notasulga on Aug. 4, 1938. After marrying, she and Bill moved to Germany. As a devoted Army wife, she spent over 20 years moving to various locations. After Bill retired, they moved to Guntersville in 1980 where she worked for 20 years at a computer manufacturing plant. She modeled the Christian lifestyle with kindness, warmth and generosity.
