Melissa K. (Strength) Pitchford , a resident of Tallassee, Alabama passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the age of 45. She was born June 30, 1977, in Montgomery, Alabama to Billy D. Strength and Rebecca J. Strength Evans. Melissa is survived by her husband of 10 years Jeffrey Pitchford; mother Rebecca J. Strength Evans; son Matthew Taylor; daughter Riley Pitchford; brother Billy Wayne Strength (Toni) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sisters Ann Childers (Mitch) of Notasulga, Alabama and Cameron Evans of Virginia Beach, Virginia; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and her special furry friend Mason. She is preceded in death by her father Billy D. Strength of Eclectic, formerly of Tallassee.
