Maudie Jones Monk

Maudie Jones Monk, 89, of Opelika, died Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at East Alabama Medical Center.  Graveside services will be Thursday, February 21, 2019, at Garden Hills Cemetery in Opelika at 11:00 A.M.  Mrs. Monk is survived by her son Charles (Dee) Kidd; her grandchildren Charles (Tonia) Kidd, Jr., Laurie M. Ring, Bobby Lee (Lee Ann) Kidd, and Dustin Leonaski; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; her sister-in-law Hattie Jones; several nieces and nephews; a special nephew David Blomquist; numerous friends; and her dog Little Man.
