Mary Annette Stewart

Mary Annette Stewart, 76, of Tallassee, died Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at her home.  Funeral services will be Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Corbitt's Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Josh Cullars and Rev. John Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in Roxana Cemetery.  Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.  Pallbearers will be Jack Taunton, Dawson Willis, Cory Moseley, Chase Stewart, Edwin Kotara, Zach Thornburg, and Chris Moseley.  Honorary pallbearers are Billy Stewart and Amos McGhar.  Mrs. Stewart is survived by her children Debra (Edwin) Kotara, Billy (Sherry) Stewart, and Roy Charles Stewart; special daughters Jolene Butler and Jo Stewart; her grandchildren Angela (Jack) Brewer, Cory (Mandy) Moseley, Chris Moseley, Jack Taunton, Hannah (Zach) Thornburg, Chase Stewart, Belle Cooper, and Dawson Willis; her great grandchildren Kaylin and Sarah Brewer, Madison Taunton, Mason Crumpton, McKenzie McManus, Landon Moseley, Bristol Moseley, and Emily, Luke, and James Blakely; and her church family from River Road Baptist Church who she loved.  She was preceded in death by her parents C.S. Garrett, Lucille and Edgar Faircloth; her husband Edward “Jerry” Stewart; her brothers Sammy, James and Jack Garrett; her daughters Brenda Marie and Betty Nanette; her grandsons Chuck and Travis Stewart; and her special friend Lavine Floyd.  She spent her life as a hard working wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend.
