Marvin Johnny Tally

Marvin Johnny Tally, 69, of Society Hill, Alabama, died at his home Monday, September 17, 2018.  He was born in Lee County, Alabama, on December 6, 1948.  He retired from Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 52 out of Montgomery, Alabama.  He was preceded in death by his parents William Franklin Tally and Voncille Vera Brown Tally, his wife Judy Dianne Patterson Tally, and his daughter Ashley Reneé Tally.  He is survived by his daughter Rachel Dianne Tally-Daniel (Christopher Nolan); his granddaughter Savannah Grace Daniel of Auburn, Alabama; his brothers William Franklin Tally, Jr. of Little Texas, Alabama, and Alvin Donnie Tally of Opelika, Alabama; and his special friend Karen Bush.  Visitation will be Wednesday, September 19, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Mr. Tally's home, 3388 Co. Rd. 24, Auburn, AL 36830.  Graveside services will be held at Society Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 16155 US Hwy 80 E, Opelika, AL, at 11:00 A.M. on September 20, 2018, with Rev. David Waldrop officiating.
