Marilyn Sheppard

Marilyn Sheppard, 63, of Shorter, Alabama, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Tuesday, December 5, 2018, surrounded by her family. She left behind a loving husband of 36 years William Sheppard; her son Johnny "Bear" Adams; four grandchildren Celeste Adams, Allison Adams, Johnny "Bubba" Adams and Miranda Bailey; a great grand daughter Serenity Harper; her parents Warren and Pauline Hicks; her brother Buddy Hicks; her sisters Jeanie Vickery, Shelia Gilbreth, and Linda Pitchford; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. at Bradford's Chapel with Rev. G.W. Temple officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 P.M.
