Ms. Mabel Ann Garrett Fincher of Notasulga, Alabama, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023, at the age of 75. She was born July 30, 1947, in Warm Springs, GA, to John and Mildred Garrett. After graduating Manchester High School, she moved to Notasulga in 1966.
Ms. Fincher is survived by Leonard Oz Fincher; her daughter Michelle Fincher Flurry; two granddaughters Hannah (Brandon) McGinty and Heather Flurry; her great grandson Kyle McGinty; her sisters Debbie Vaught and Tami (Les) Freiberg; and brother Mark Garrett Sr.; sister-in-law Wendy Garrett; several nieces and nephews; and her special best friends Janice Gibson and Martha Jean Plant.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother Mabel Langford; her parents John and Mildred Garrett; sisters Kim Garrett and Edwina Garrett and brothers Bill Garrett Sr. and Don Garrett Sr.; and sister-in-law Lori Garrett.
Funeral services will include visitation at 10:00 a.m. immediately followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Loachapoka Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.
Ann enjoyed watching her granddaughters play ball and eating at Elmer’s on Friday nights with her family. She was the sweetest soul with the ability to make children feel as if they were her own. She enjoyed entertaining her friends and family with her sense of humor.
