Larry Wayne Waldrop Obituary

Larry Wayne Waldrop was born in Tallapoosa County on March 5, 1946, and passed away on August 24, 2021, at East Alabama Medical Center. He was 75 years old. Larry lived most of his life in Opelika. He worked at Uniroyal as a tire builder. He was fortunate to retire early. He loved the outdoors, and most days you could find him on the lake fishing. His trophies were featured in the OA News many times. Larry was preceded in death by his mother Margaret O. Waldrop and father Randall "Tootie" Waldrop, and his brother Ronnie "Tootie" Waldrop. Larry is survived by Pat Waldrop Hillyer, Janet Waldrop Creswell, Taylor Waldrop Yancey, multiple nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you to make a donation to the charity of your choice. Due to Covid, there will be no service at this time but announced at a later time.
