Larry Ray Hammock

Larry Ray Hammock, 76, of Tallassee, died Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at East Alabama Medical Center. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024, at East Tallassee Methodist Church at 12:00 noon with Rev. Jay Woodall officiating. Visitation will be at the church prior to the service at 11:00 am. Mr. Hammock is survived by his children Jennifer (Jason) Burton, Stacy (Alicia) Chambliss, and Amanda (Ray) Shook; his grandchildren Katlyn (Jacob) Coan, Tanner (Emlyn) Glass, and Harmony and Andrew Shook; his greatgrandchildren Kollins and River Coan, and Oaklen Glass; his siblings Judy Nunn, Mike Hammock, and Charles Hammock; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Flora and Curt Hammock. He was a huge Alabama fan and a die-hard Dale Earnhardt fan. He loved hunting, fishing, spending time at the river, and especially loved his family.
