Joseph Larry Kilpatrick

Joseph Larry Kilpatrick passed away on Aug. 4, 2021, at East Alabama Medical Center at the age of 74.  He lived a life full of love for the Lord, his beloved family, and friends.  He was retired from the Alabama State Troopers where he had 30 years of faithful service.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years Peggy P. Kilpatrick; his daughters Rebecca (Jeremy) Williams and Stacey (Duke) Maddox; his grandchildren Bre, CJ, Roman, Kati, Leila, Tanner, and Joseph; his sisters Robin Kilpatrick, Carolyn Turner, Virginia Spratlin, and Elaine Adair; and many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Louise Kilpatrick, and his brother Darry Kilpatrick.  Larry was a beloved husband, father, and uncle who will be missed by all.  Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church of Reeltown with Rev. Tim Smith and Rev. Ronald Sumner officiating.  Burial will follow in Pleasant Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be prior to the funeral at the church beginning at 10:00 A.M.
