John Randall “Pete” Moon, Sr.

John Randall “Pete” Moon, Sr., 90, died Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Merry Wood Lodge. He was born in Columbus, GA, to the late Ashby Benjamin and Mabel Randall Moon on March 17, 1933. The family will have a private service at a later date. Mr. Moon graduated from API in 1956 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He retired after 30 years of working for BellSouth. He also served his country in the United States Army. He is survived by his son John Randall Moon, Jr. (Ramona); his granddaughter Catherine Murry (Jeremy); and his great grandchildren Abigail Murry, Aubrey Grace Murry, Alice Beth Pynn, and Holland Pynn. He was preceded in death by his wife Alice Catherine Moon, his daughter Elizabeth Catherine Donehoo, and his granddaughter Katie Pynn.
