John Claude Watson

John Claude Watson, 54, of Tallassee, passed away on June 8, 2024. He was born on Oct. 15, 1969. He was a long time resident of Reeltown. He is preceded in death by his father Quinton Lamar Watson. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Nancy Watson; his mother Margaret Watson; his sons Blake Wyatt (Maegan) and Jacob Watson; his daughter Kaitlyn Lyndsley (Aaron); his sisters Connie Ervin (Jim) and Naomi Ledbetter (Dennis); his grandchildren Cole, Asher, and Leo all of whom he loved dearly. John loved hot rods, drag racing, mud riding, fishing, and going to church where he gave his life to the Lord in 2010. He was a Ford enthusiast and was called “Mr. Ford Man” by his family and friends. He always loved spending time with family, friends. He was always a very caring person. He never met a stranger, and he would give you the shirt off his back. He was loved by many, and he will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Tallassee Holiness Church, 94 Honeysuckle Ln., Tallassee, AL 36078.
