Jimmy LLoyd Aldridge, 81, of Opelika, died Sunday, December 29, 2019, at Bethany House. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Opelika at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Roy Aldridge officiating. A private burial will follow. Visitation will be at the church prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. Mr. Aldridge is survived by his wife of 10 years Dean Humphries Aldridge; his sons Troy (Jan) Aldridge, Roy (Teresa) Aldridge, and James (Julie) Aldridge; his daughters Pam Langford and Kim (Dan) Beatty; his grandchildren Katelyn (Nick) Turvin, Hunter Aldridge, and Kristen Aldridge; and several other grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Oliver and Nell Aldridge, his brother Rev. Gene Aldridge, his sister Jeanel Aldridge, and his grandson Skyler Aldridge. He was an active member in Living Waters Ministry Center and served as a deacon. He was a loving husband, father, and Paw Paw.
