James Lamar Kirby, Jr.

Mr. James Lamar Kirby, Jr., 59, of Tallassee, died Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at his home.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Corbitt's Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. with Kandy Gantt, Hospice Chaplain, officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. Mr. Kirby is survived by his son James Lamar (Terrie) Kirby, III; his step sons Joseph Stough and Jeremy (Haley) Kirby; his grandchildren Tanner and Emma Kirby; and his sisters Grey (Larry) Sward and Carolyn (Michael) Phelps.  The family would also like to thank Sheila Adams and Cortez Gipson for the great care they gave Mr. Kirby.  He was a hard working man who loved his family.
