Jackie Rene Miller

A beloved Jackie Rene Miller, born Jackie Rene Pynes on November 22, 1961, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, June 17, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones. Jackie loved our savior Jesus Christ wholeheartedly, and used her light to bring glory to the Kingdom of God. 

Jackie dedicated 37 years of her life working for Rheem Manufacturing, where she made many lifelong friends. She had a passion for working in her beauty salon, and was always willing to give a haircut on a moment’s notice. Jackie was compassionate, gracious, never met a stranger, and had a pleasantly contagious laugh. She loved her family, her dogs, gatherings, shopping, crafting, gardening, camping, and Christmas. To have known Jackie was to know true love. She will forever live on in our hearts and minds. We know that she will greet us again one day with open arms, standing at the gates of Heaven next to our Savior. 

Jackie is preceded in death by Lonnie Pynes (father), Hattie Pynes (mother), & brothers Lannice Pynes & Ronnie Pynes. 

Jackie leaves behind a loving husband of 35 years, Billy Joe Miller, Jr.; a daughter, Ashley Callis (Dustin); sons Travis Miller (Shelby) and Chase Miller; sisters Donna Stroup and Patsy Thebo; one brother, Tim Pynes; two granddaughters, Mary Miller Callis and Elizabeth Callis; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as many dear friends. 

Visitation with the family will begin at 9:00am on Saturday, June 25, 2022, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 10:00am at the Tabernacle located at Williams Chapel UMC. The address is 1437 County Road 69, Tuskegee, AL 36083.
