Mr. Story exemplified a life of service. Service to God is most important in our short time on this earth. Service to our families would be next, then service to our Country and community. Hearing someone pray to the Lord gives you a small glimpse into a man's relationship with the Father. Some of us as children don't get to see this as we are growing up, but we did as adults. We witnessed a man's service to his family, friends and fellow man, quite often as well. Anytime, we needed his hand, his knowledge, food, borrow a tool, needed a place to stay, needed a little financial help or whatever the situation was, he was there. Helping and loving his wife through everything she was dealing with, never once complaining. Serving the Country and community as a member of the military, state trooper, police chief, fire chief, fire inspector, license inspector, and all around servant to his fellow man.
All these traits are gifts from the Father. Our Father above gives these gifts to men that He knows will exemplify God's love for us. Grady Story was one of those men, and he will be sorely missed.
