Glenda Carol Allen Bufford

Glenda Carol Allen Bufford, 81, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 28, 2022. Funeral services will be Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Williams Chapel United Methodist Church at 3:00 P.M. with Leon Kelly and Robert Spratlin officiating. Burial will follow in Little Texas Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service at the church beginning at 2:00 P.M. 

Mrs. Bufford is survived by her children Connie Bufford Masotti, Lisa Bufford, Hal (Rose) Bufford, and Cliff (Lisa) Bufford; her grandchildren Staley (Nikki) Bufford, Cole (Abegale) Faust, Jack Hill, Trey Smith, Taylor (Megan) Smith, Jane Carol (Jonathan) McClain, Darby (Gavin) McCollough, Cora Bufford, and Allen Bufford; and her great grandchildren Tannon McClain and Lincoln McClain. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Mathew Hale Bufford, her parents Mr. and Mrs. Fred Allen, and her brother Hugh Allen. 

Glenda was faithful in her service to her Lord, her husband and her children. She was not someone to lean on but someone who gave you the skills to make leaning unnecessary. Above all, she loved music and sharing it with others.
