George Junior Robertson

George Junior Robertson, 72 of Little Texas, AL, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Bethany House. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Williams Chapel United Methodist Church at 2:30 P.M. with Robert Spratlin officiating. Burial will follow in Little Texas Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church prior to the service beginning at 1:30 P.M. Mr. Robertson is survived by his two stepsons Marty and Aubrey Meeks; his brothers Tony (Jackie), Bennie Robertson; his sisters Helen (Bill) Stringfellow and Bonnie (Tommy) Beasley; eight nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and his fur baby Dixie. He was preceded in death by his parents Horace Eschol and Mattie Lou Robertson, his stepson Shane Meeks, and his sister-in-law Betty Jean Robertson. Mr. Robertson, or “George” to all family and friends, had a great love for all his family and friends. He found joy in picking and playing with his nieces and nephews. George loved fishing, riding horses and in his younger days loved fast cars but retired to his beloved pickup truck for the later years. Pallbearers: Thomas Brunner, Ryan Huddleston,Coley Spivey, Chris Brewer, Joe Neal and Ben Robertson.
