Frances Lavinia “Meme” Daughtry Williams

Frances Lavinia “Meme” Daughtry Williams, 85, of Montgomery, died Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Baptist East. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Ramsay Memorial Presbyterian Church at 2:00 pm officiated by Rev. Elizabeth Whatley. Burial will follow at Neal’s Chapel. Visitation will be at Ramsay Memorial Presbyterian beginning at 1:00 pm. 

Lavinia is survived by her daughter Amy (Walter) Chumley; and her grandchildren Anna Perri Chumley, Frances Alyssa Chumley (Christopher Blake Foss) Foss, and Robert Carson Chumley. 

Lavinia loved her grandchildren and called them all “Darlin’ Sugarlumpin’ Pie.” She also loved Alabama football, playing the piano, and Publix fried chicken. She once played clarinet in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and loved to tell her grandchildren about it.
