David Wayne Lewis was a loving and caring husband and father. He had a great career as a logging business owner with his brother John Wendell. Wayne had many passions and hobbies that he enjoyed very much. Fishing reels, rods, tackle and boats was probably his number one.
Wayne loved to spend his time outdoors fishing, working, messing around in the yard or just simply sitting on the porch.
Just a simple man.
Wayne was a very strong man - tougher than nails being hammered into pure steel. He was stubborn as a mule. Bravest man we know. Every time Wayne faced a battle in his life he might lose, he dug deep and pushed through it all. He never gave up on himself or his strength and ability to always fight and be strong.
Not all battles are meant to be won. You can't always be a champion. But to his family he will always be theirs. David Wayne Lewis has left this world but gained his wings. He will forever be our guardian angel and will always be greatly missed, never forgotten and always loved by his family and love ones. The pain is gone! Crying only Happy Tears.
