Dana Kyle McGuire, also known as "Husband, Daddy, Paw Paw, Poppa, Da Da, Da, Squirrel, Other Dummy, and Santa Claus," 63, of Notasulga, died on Monday, July 11, 2022.
Kyle was a big kid at heart with the biggest personality. He always said he’d grow up when his girls, Shannon and Sam, and extra daughters, Amanda McGinty, Crystal Fuller, and Toynia Stewart, did, then it became when the grandkids did.
He always had a kind word for everyone he met and never met a stranger. He was always eager to lend a helping hand, had a smile on his face, and a joke to tell. He made everyone around him smile. All who knew him, loved him.
Kyle was hard working and passionate about his job. He was employed by Hornsby Striping for over 4 decades and loved to talk about the road.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Concord Baptist Church with Kevin Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Little Texas Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, July 15, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Corbitt's Funeral Home.
