Curtis “David” Waldrop, 65, passed away at his home in Roxana, AL on June 28, 2022. David loved our Savior, Jesus Christ, wholeheartedly and used his light to bring glory to the Kingdom of God. He loved his family, dogs, church families, Emmaus community, abundance of friends, vanilla ice cream, and country living.
David is preceded in death by his parents Curtis Waldrop and Martha Waldrop Dawson. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Barbara Stanley Waldrop; three daughters Randi (Frank) Carleton, Angi (Bradd) Rhymes, and Tami (Forrest) Thomas; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and his sister Gwen (JD) Ladd.
The family is holding a celebration of life to honor David on Sunday, July 3rd, at Little Texas Tabernacle at William’s Chapel UMC (1437 Co Rd 69, Tuskegee, AL). Visitation will be at 2:00 P.M. and service at 3:00 P.M. with Mike Whitman officiating.
