Charla Dawn Kirk, born December 11, 1972, went home May 20, 2020. "It doesn't matter what the birth day nor the death day is. What matters is the dash in between which is her life." Funeral services will be Saturday, May 23, 2020, at the Little Texas Tabernacle at 11:00 A.M. with Robert Spratlin officiating. Burial will follow in Little Texas Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. at the Tabernacle.
Charla was preceded in death by her brother Brian Kirk and mother Diane Spratlin. She leaves behind her daughter Abbie Robertson; her three loving grandkids Nason Beasley, and Austin and Jaxon Debord; her father Charles Kirk; her step mothers Gwen More and Martha Hickman; her siblings Cassandra Kirk Pafford, Chet Kirk, Lisa Kirk, Clint Kirk, Kelly Cruz Alexander, Joyce Cannon Kirk, Doug Edge, and Annette Edge Turner; and several nieces and nephews.
Charla loved to cook and could cook herself out of a war!!! She loved to fish. She was a very caring person and loved to spend time with her grandkids as well as the rest of her family. She enjoyed the thrill of life at Six Flags. Her biggest quote was, "You will be strong."
