Carmella Gallo May Berwick

Carmella Gallo May Berwick, 90, of Opelika, died Saturday, August 11, 2018, at her home.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at Notasulga Assembly of God at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Lucy Gosa officiating.  Burial will follow in Salem Macon Baptist Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the church prior to the service beginning at 9:00 A.M.  Mrs. Berwick was born in Philadelphia, PA, as a first generation American to her parents Angelo and Rosaria Gallo who immigrated from Italy.  She is survived by her husband of 25 years Randolph Berwick; her children Carol May, Samuel (Kimberly) May, Robert (Marshia) May, and Joseph (Deanna) May; her sisters in Pennsylvania Nancy Latella and Mary Courato; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law James and Debbie May.
