Obituary

Brian Alan Manley passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the age of 49. Brian was born on June 22, 1972, in Jackson, MS, where he grew up and graduated from Woodland Hills Baptist Academy High School in 1991.  Brian was a 1997 graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Business Management. His love for Auburn and the amazing community led him to call Auburn his forever home.

While tailgating with the Auburn Tigers in 2006, Brian met Katharine Gail and they married October 25, 2008. He and Katharine were blessed with two children, Cooper (11) and Kendrick (9), who adored their daddy so very much. Brian’s family was his pride and joy.  He lived his life devoted to his family, friends, and the Lord.

Brian loved and enjoyed his work. He held a highly successful career for 20 wonderful years with Polytec Inc. He took pride in his professional relationships which turned into personal life long friendships. His customers became family and he took care of them to the very end. Those that knew Brian know that he always put others ahead of himself.

Brian was everyone's friend. He never met a stranger and he never let anyone feel left out. He had that natural gift of making everyone he came in contact with feel special. His smile and jokes made you love him and never forget him.

Brian was very active with his family in his church, Auburn United Methodist Church.  He loved to talk to all of the children of all ages in the halls. He loved to joke with them and make them smile and laugh. Making people smile was always his goal! He would get to know his church family and friends and their interests and would always focus on them when they were together.

Brian’s positive attitude was contagious. He loved life and everyone around him! His wife and children were his world. Brian lived a life which made other people feel valued, and his presence in his friends’ and families’ lives will forever be missed.

Survivors include his wife Katharine Manley, their children Cooper Manley and Kendrick Manley, his sister Shannon (Jason) Snow, and his nephew and niece Jake and Kate Snow

He was preceded in death by his parents Don and Barbara Manley.
