Betty Randall Scott

Betty Randall Scott, at the blessed age of 97, passed from this life on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Crowne Health Care of Montgomery.  Born and raised in Tuskegee, she spent her latter years in Tallassee, before moving to Montgomery.  

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Scott; parents Dewey and Orline Parker Randall; and siblings Dewey Randall, Jr., Mary Randall Wood, Parker Randall, and Tommy Randall.  

Mrs. Scott is survived by her three devoted daughters Carolyn (Larry) Skelton, Donna (Bill) Segrest, and Mary Ann Plemons (Anthony, deceased); three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.  

She was a long-time active member of Westside Baptist Church in Tallassee and, after moving to Montgomery, she attended Eastmont Baptist Church.  

A celebration of her life will be held at Bradford’s Chapel, Shorter, Alabama, at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 19.  Eulogy to be shared by her daughter Carolyn.
