Beila Sue Harmon Harper Dunwoody

Beila Sue Harmon Harper Dunwoody, 95, of Birmingham, passed into eternal life on January 13, 2025.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Notasulga Cemetery in Notasulga, Alabama.

Mrs. Dunwoody was the daughter of the late Eric and Maybelle Head Harmon. She was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children Frank Harper, her son Mike Harper, her grandson John Mooresmith, her sister Kathryn Harmon Ferrell, her brothers James and Myron Harmon, and nephew James, Jr.

She is survived by her beloved daughter Susan Harper Mooresmith, niece Jene' Harmon, and nephew David Harmon. Sue was Mimi to three granddaughters and six great granchildren.

Sue, a retired State of Alabama employee, was known for her love of bridge, clothes, and luncheons with friends. She was a member of Mountain Chapel Methodist Church. And she was blessed to have caring friends and neighbors that helped her in her later months.
