Barbara Ann (Wright) Whatley

Mrs. Barbara Ann Wright Whatley, 72, of Tuskegee, passed away October 2, 2018, at her home.  Funeral services will be Thursday, October 4, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at Union Christian Church with Rev. Ed Spencer and Rev. Danny Shoemake officiating.  Burial will follow in Little Texas Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Corbitt’s Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.  Mrs. Whatley is survived by her children Michael Shane Selman Whatley and Angela Whatley Hicks; her grandchildren Shyanne Whatley, Summer Whatley, and Benton Hicks; her sisters Judy (John) Bethea and Shirley (Elliott) Cotney; and a special friend and caregiver Larry Spratlin.  She was preceded in death by her three husbands Douglas Whatley, Billy Selman and Donald Griggs; her parents Archie and Emma P. Wright, and her brothers Cecil Wright and Kenneth Wright.  Pallbearers will be Tom Hill, Wallace Sadler, Michael Sadler, Wayne Woods, Randy Moore, and Doug Cannon.
