Austin Dillon Ledbetter

Austin Dillon Ledbetter, 22, of Shorter, died Sunday, January 19, 2020.  Funeral services will be Thursday, January 23, 2020, at Williams Chapel United Methodist Church at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. David Waldrop and Robert Spratlin officiating.  Burial will follow in Little Texas Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at Corbitt's Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.  Austin is survived by his parents Philip and Stephanie Ledbetter; his siblings Cody Ledbetter, Gabriel Ledbetter, Samara Ledbetter, Zachary Ledbetter, and Emily Ledbetter; his grandparents Lamar and Joy Ledbetter, and David and Shelia Bufford; his uncles Albert, Jr. (Shelia) Ledbetter and Charles (Becky) Ledbetter; and many cousins.  

Austin was a fighter and didn't meet a stranger.  He was a hard worker and loved the outdoors.  He was born with HLHS and received his first heart transplant at 11 weeks old.  Austin's second heart transplant was in 2011.  Pneumonia set him on the course for a kidney transplant in 2014.  He was no stranger to struggle and pain, but he tried to keep his spirits up.  Austin had a calm, quiet personality.  He received so many gifts and was able to donate back.
