Arnold William "Rough Rider" Dicks

Arnold William Dicks, "Rough Rider," a resident of Shorter, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on September 3, 2021, at age 60.  Graveside services will be Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at Cubahatchie Baptist Cemetery with Jimmy Todd officiating.  Pallbearers will be John Davis, Scott Key, Rob Peacock, Jim Dicks, Billy Segrest, and Randy Ray.  Visitation will be Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Corbitt's Funeral Home in Tuskegee, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Mr. Dicks is survived by his wife of 31 years Donna Segrest Dicks; his children Megan (Scooter) and Cody (Madison); his grandchildren Maddy, Lorelei, Weston, and Rylee; his mother Sara Dicks; his brothers Clyde, Jr. (Dee) and Frank (Monica).  He was preceded in death by his father Clyde Dicks, Sr.  Arnold was a beloved husband, daddy, and Papa who will be missed by all.  He was a simple cowboy with the love for life, family and friends.
