Andrew Earl Hickman

Andrew “Earl” Hickman went to his eternal home on January 26, 2022, at the Medical City Alliance Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 69. Earl was born on April 12, 1952 in Tuskegee, AL. He was the son of Andrew F. Hickman and Kathryn W. Stringfellow. Both preceding him in death.

He was a man of many talents. He worked his life doing plumbing, farming and construction work but his main love was trucking.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Victoria A. Hickman and his dog “Little Man” who he loved so much; 8 children, Glendon E. Hickman of Opelika, AL; Kathryn S. Hickman (Wayne) of Opelika, AL; Kelly B. Wrenn (Chuck) of Hurdle Mills, NC; Shane C. Brantley (Carie) of Mebane, NC; Frankie Lee Gates (Adrienne) of Mobile, AL; Bill (Debbie) Gates of Opelika, AL; and Leigh Ann Gregg, Opelika, AL, and Hollie M. Taylor (Michael) of Randleman, NC; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Wyolene Stringfellow of Tuskegee, AL; Linda Griggs (Preston) of Opelika, AL and Martha Kirk of Opelika, AL with numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at the home of Wyolene Stringfellow, 1111 County Road 63, Tuskegee, AL 36083 on Saturday, June 4, at 2 pm. A meal will be served after the service. Dress as you like.
