Alicia Paige Barrett

Alicia Paige Barrett, 24, of Opelika, died Thursday, December 1, 2022, at East Alabama Medical Center. Graveside services will be Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Holt Cemetery in Society Hill with Rev. Steve MacInnis officiating. Visitation will be Monday, December 5, 2022, from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Corbitt’s Funeral Home in Tuskegee. Paige is survived by her son Remington “Remi” Jackson Barrett, her mother Wendy Howard, her sister Peyton Barrett, her grandmother Laurie Boykin, and several aunts, an uncle and cousins. She battled illness her whole life, but she didn’t let it define her. She was an amazing daughter, awesome sister and a loving and protective mother who left us way too soon. She was a true and loyal friend. She had a tough exterior but for those who really knew her, she had a heart of gold and would do anything to make her friends happy. She was a beautiful soul that will be greatly missed.
