Mrs. Ada Ann May Lumpkin, 80, of Notasulga, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Bethany House in Auburn. Ada Lumpkin was born in Tuskegee, AL, and was a lifelong resident of Notasulga. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Elmer "John" Lumpkin, her parents Riley May and Ruth Reynolds, her brother Gene May, her brother-in-law Randy Haynes, and her sister-in-law Francine May. She is survived by her children John Dale "Buddy" Lumpkin (Teresa), Richard Lumpkin (Kathy), Terry Broach (Bill Huskey) all of Notasulga; her sister Deborah Haynes of Notasulga; her brother Tommy May of Notasulga; her grandchildren Andy Lumpkin, Adam Broach, Katie Williams (Justin), Haiden Lumpkin all of Notasulga, Patty Edwards (Kyle) of Auburn, and Ashley Jones (Preston) of Montgomery; her great grandchildren Cayden Skinner, Braylee Skinner, Raylan and Holden Jones, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Larry Lumpkin, Dignesh Patel, Justin Williams, Chris Johnson, Russ Davis, and Doug Long. Honorary pallbearers will be Macon County Sheriff Andre Brunson, Tommy Miller, and Mike Berry. The family would like to thank Dr. Hiren Patel, EAMC Arbor Spring Rehab, the staff at Bethany House, and Linda Barresi. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 20, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at Notasulga First Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Notasulga Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, April 19, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Notasulga First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Bethany House in Auburn.
