William O. "Pete" Dobbs

William O. "Pete" Dobbs, 81, of Notasulga, died Thursday, June 6, 2019, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.  Funeral services will be Saturday, June 8, 2019, at 3:00 P.M. at Victory Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be at the church prior to the funeral beginning at 2:00 P.M.  Mr. Dobbs is survived by his wife Dorothy Cox Dobbs; his sons William Earl Dobbs, John (Susan) Luck, Lee (Dawn) Luck, and Chris (Denise) Luck; his sisters Margaret Belcher of Opelika, Lora Jones of Auburn, Nellie Harrison of New London, NC, Alice Skidmore of Danville, and Nancy Ford of Notasulga; his brothers James (Linda) Dobbs of Hartselle, and George "Joe" Dobbs of Opelika; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Elizabeth Dobbs and his sister Betty Buffington.  Mr. Dobbs was Pastor of Victory Baptist Church for 43 years.
