Merry Lee Tyson Obituary

Merry Lee Tyson, 71, of Little Texas, was born Sept. 6, 1946, and passed away April 25, 2018. Funeral services were Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Corbitt’s Funeral Home in Tuskegee with Rev. Henry Dawson officiating. Burial followed in Little Texas Cemetery. Mrs. Tyson is survived by her husband of 54 years James Thomas Tyson, Sr.; her five children Tom (Jessie) Tyson of Opelika, Donna (Don) Waldrep of Dadeville, Melissa McCullars of Opelika, Beth (Kevin) Seamon of Prattville, and Philip Daniel Tyson, Sr. of Tuskegee; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Mrs. Tyson served for 13 years with her husband as a missionary in Alaska to the Klintik Indians.
