Martha Virginia Dawson

God picked one of His angels to come home.  Mrs. Martha Virginia Dawson, 81, of Auburn, died Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at her home.  Funeral services will be Thursday, June 27, 2019, at Marvyn Parkway Baptist Church at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. David Floyd, Rev. Henry Dawson, and Caleb Prather officiating.  Burial will follow in Pine Knot Cemetery.  Visitation will be prior to the service at the church beginning at 2:00 P.M.  Mrs. Dawson is survived by her husband of 41 years John M. Dawson; her children David (Barbara) Waldrop and Gwen (J.D.) Ladd; her step-children Cathy (Jimmy) Manning, Brenda Dawson, and John (Amy) Dawson; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren; her sister Phyllis (Lewis) Ledbetter; and her brother Tommy Whitman.
