Jonathan Michael "L J" Smith

Jonathan Michael "L J" Smith, 32, of Reeltown, died Monday, September 30, 2019.  Funeral services will be Friday, October 4, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at Carrville Baptist Church in Tallassee.  Rev. Brandon Fomby will officiate, and burial will follow in Reeltown Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. 

Jonathan is survived by his parents Jack and Judy Smith; his sister Jessica Smith; his aunts and uncles Dennis (Claudia) Ainsworth, Daniel (Elise) Ainsworth, Jay (Elaine) Smith, Angie (Charlie) Harper, Audrey (Chris) Hollis, Sara (Terry) Muncher, Jinnene (Justin) Massey, and Joel (Paula) Smith; and many cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Calvin and Joan Ainsworth, Jane Ainsworth, and James and Alice Smith and his uncle Tim Smith and aunt Nancy Hagopian.

Pallbearers will be Cade Cosby, Jacob Coan, Jason Spain, Jarrett Casaday, Will Washburn, Ross Colley, Kolby Coan, and Joseph Summers.

Jonathan was a graduate of Reeltown High School Class of 2006 and member of Carrville Baptist Church.  He enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with his family and friends, music and singing, racing, and Alabama and Reeltown football.
