John Harwell Johnson

John Harwell Johnson, 78, of Reeltown, died Monday, May 20, 2019, at EAMC.  Graveside services will be Saturday, May 25, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at Johnson Family Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday, May 24, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Corbitt's Funeral Home.  Mr. Johnson is survived by his daughter Margaret (Joey) Floyd; and his grandchildren Alex (Karlie) Johnson and their children Jayce and Amelia, Lindsey (Bren Bentley) Peoples and their children Joshua, Jordan, Gary Joe, and Jaxon; Matthew (Magen) Floyd, Crystal (Rick) Thomas and their children, Joseph (Jolene) Butler and their children, and Amanda Floyd and her son.  He was preceded in death by his parents D.A. Johnson and Margaret McCoy.  He farmed for most of his life, but spent many years as a law enforcement officer.  He was a proud member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans Tallassee Armory Guards Camp #1921.
