Annice Mozelle Farris

Annice Mozelle Farris, 90, of Montgomery, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019.  She was born April 1, 1928, in Coffee County, Alabama, to Joe and Wyllene Grubbs Murdock.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 72 years Wade Gachet Farris, her brother Hershel Murdock, and her sister Carolyn Baxley.  She is survived by her sister Vivian Paulson; her brother Mickey (Liz) Murdock; her sons Dale (Gail) Farris and Wayne (Tricia) Farris; her grandchildren Justin (Siggi) Farris, Emily Farris (Loren) Stewart, and Nathan (Lauren) Farris; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, a skilled seamstress and an avid reader.  Funeral services will be Monday, January 14, 2019, at 2:00 P.M. at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo with Dr. Gary Blair officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ridgecrest Baptist Church or Amedisys Hospice.
