Jimmy Selma Worthington

Jimmy S. Worthington, 84, of Smiths Station, died Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at Oak Park in Auburn.  Graveside services will be Friday, September 22, 2017, at 10:00 A.M. in Garden Hills Cemetery with Rev. Harvey Miller officiating.  Visitation will be Thursday, September 21, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Corbitt's Funeral Home.  Mr. Worthington is survived by his wife of 32 years Brenda Worthington; his children Edward E. (Gail) Worthington, Rodney Hicks, Sue Ward, and Kim Jones; his grandchildren Magan (Ricky) Coon, Shane Worthington, and Tarra (Jonathan) Dixon; 4 step grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and his brother Howard Earl Worthington.  He was preceded in death by his parents C.J. and Minnie Worthington and his sister Jan Reese.
